A story of a reclusive mother and her ten year old daughter – living in a run-down trailer on land condemned for highway expansion. Isolation, survival and identity for the young Anna Bella are tempered by a rich fantasy world in which she creates a girl out of mud. A richly imagined tale of a fierce mother-daughter bond, spoken and sung by three women.
